Cottage Class

$100, includes 4-room 1" scale dollhouse kit, glue, housebody paint color (student's choice), and instructor's time.

We will be assembling the kit during this class.  Students must sign up at least one week in advance.  If student wishes to paint kit before assembling, necessary pieces and paint must be picked up at least a week before the class so that student has enough time to paint.  Otherwise, the house may be painted after assembly if any time remains after class on class day.  Raw wood shingles are provided.  Shingle Dye, stain, and extra paint available at additional cost.

If desired, electrical and wallpapering classes for this dollhouse will be offered for additional fee(s).

Next Class:

Whenever you stop by the store!

Electrifying A Dollhouse

Cost - $5.00

Our electrification classes are scheduled around your time!  Call first to verify that Lori will be available when you want to visit the store and she will explain and demonstrate how to electrify a dollhouse plus various other electrical techniques.  You'll see how to attach the lead-in wire to the transformer, where to install the junction splice, how to complete the wiring runs throughout a dollhouse, and how to install light fixtures.  Demonstration and explanation will take approximately 30 minutes.  For $5, you are welcome to stay and play with the tools and practice board for as long you'd like (or at least until closing time!).  You can then practice making electrical connections using the store's tools and supplies until you feel comfortable!
