We finished the Contemporary Living Room Roombox. A reminder that not all dollhouses and miniatures have to be Victorian! The Lee's Line furniture matches the walls beautifully - the brown, creme, and blue tones pick up the threads in the chairs of the same colors. We made the fireplace out of scrap wood pieces and the planter is the same wallpaper border as what is on the roombox's lid.
The purple Holly Ann is making very slow progress. This store display is about to get shingled and will be finished (hopefully by the end of March!). We also have a purple Real Good Toys Plum Pudding that we are shingling for a customer -- so between the Beach House (above), the Holly Ann, and the Plum Pudding we are just shingling fools! Okay, we admit it, we are foolish with or without the shingles. ;o)
Plus there is the large green dollhouse that we have begun the deconstruction process in order to fix it up. We have ripped the broken and half glued shingles off of the porch roof which wrapped around the house and are using the spare pieces we managed to save to repair the main roof's most significant shingling boo-boos (yes, "boo-boos" is a technical miniature term for me).
