Just announced: Madame Alexander is acquiring Lee Middleton! The New York City-based collectible and play doll company, Alexander Doll (founded in 1923), has acquired the business assets of Lee Middleton Dolls (founded in 1989), which had been manufacturing Alexander’s exclusive club dolls. Keep posted for more details of the acquisition as they become available.
We have received the new 2010 Adora dolls (now manufactured by Charisma)! We also have a 22" doll from Ashton Drake that giggles, cries, closes her eyes and says, "I love you" - designed by artisan Waltraud Hanl.
Charisma has also produced some "Retail Only Exclusives" (such as the one pictured on the right). Life of Faith (including Faith and Friends) by Mission City Press no longer exists. This company officially closed their offices on Oct. 30, 2009. We have one Life of Faith dolls remaining (Millie), very few books left and some clothing (that also fits the American Girl dolls). We also have a handful of the 14" Faith and Friends dolls remaining and some of their clothing.
