Happily Ever After has been fortunate enough to be one of the only stores to carry Sue Sharp's Custom Dressed Beds!  These elegantly dressed beds work in both Victorian and contemporary settings.  The hand-stitched pillow shams and beautifully tailored bed skirts add a sophisicated touch to any basic wood bed.  The beds can be dressed with the sheets turned down for the sleepy occupant or with the covers tucked in over the pillows.  Sue Sharp can create a complete matching curtain and pillow ensemble to coordinate with the bed.

The unmade, messy bed is my personal favorite!  For that realistic touch to a child's room, this single white bed is dressed in a floral bedspread.  The bed skirt is pleated and and all the pillows are hand stitched!  The pillows are even dented as if the sleeper just left . . . .

The mahogany spindle bed is dressed in a classic white motif.  The abundance of pillows on this bed create an inviting, cozy feel.  And the tailored bed skirt is an elegant touch on this dressed bed - perfect for a wedding bridal suite roombox, a bed-and-breakfast dollhouse or the country farmhouse guest room scene!  This bed is available for sale in the store.

The bottom bed is dressed in a more "masculine" decor.  The rich green, burgundy and gold colors accent the crisp creme pillows and fitted sheet!  Note the tailored pleated bed skirt!  This is another example of Sue's hand made covered head boards.
