The Conservatory

This front-opening Real Good Toys Junior Conservatory was constructed to match with a Victorian Mansion (a project that is still in my head until I find someone willing to cut the wood to my specifications for a reasonable cost).  Therefore, the exterior of the conservatory was painted in a "drab" gray, blue and white combination that was supposed to match the gray stone that will be on the Victorian Mansion someday.

The inside is decorated in rich, bold colors (burgundy, green, golden yellow) in contrast to the drab exterior.

The tall trees reflect the columns in the wallpaper, so I may replace the short fern someday with something more appropriate.  The frog fountain (in the corner) was a small statue I bought for a dollar at a craft store.  I then painted it and added the water using plastic cling wrap and Scenic Water.

Not pictured: The windows now have swag curtains custom made by Sue Sharp.
